Kisspeptin-10 is the C-terminal decapeptide fragment of kisspeptin, a peptide encoded by the KISS1 gene. It represents the shortest sequence that retains full activity at the kisspeptin receptor, making it a widely used research tool for studying the neuroendocrine control of reproduction.
