The KLOW Blend combines four research peptides (short chains of amino-acid building blocks) that have each been studied separately: BPC-157 [1], TB-500 (a piece of thymosin beta-4) [2], GHK-Cu (a copper-carrying three-block peptide, Gly-His-Lys) [3][4], and KPV (Lys-Pro-Val), a three-block piece from the tail end of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH, a natural body signal) that has been studied for calming inflammation (swelling and irritation) [5][6]. It builds on the GLOW mix by adding this inflammation-calming three-block peptide.
BPC-157 has been studied for its effect on signals for new blood-vessel growth and nitric-oxide signaling (signals that help blood vessels widen) [1]. Thymosin beta-4 is known for binding actin (a protein that helps cells move) and helping grow new blood vessels [2]. GHK-Cu is a copper carrier that studies report affects the making of collagen (the main protein that gives skin and tissue structure) and tissue-remodeling enzymes [3][4]. KPV matches a piece of α-MSH; studies report it helps calm inflammation, and that cells take it in through PepT1, a transporter that carries small peptides into cells [5][6].
BPC-157 and thymosin beta-4 have each been studied in rodent tendon, muscle, and wound tests with reported healing and new blood-vessel growth [1][2], and GHK-Cu has been studied in connective-tissue and wound-repair tests [3].
KPV is the inflammation-calming part. Studies have looked at how cells take in KPV through the PepT1 transporter and how it lowered gut inflammation in cell and mouse colitis studies (colitis is inflammation of the colon) [5]. KPV from α-MSH has also been studied in mouse models of inflammatory bowel disease [6]. Other work looked at using tiny particles to deliver KPV straight to inflamed colon tissue [6].
No controlled studies test this four-peptide combination; the evidence for each part comes mostly from test-tube and animal studies, and KPV's inflammation data come mainly from gut studies. How well the blend works and how safe it is in people are not established. Supplied strictly for laboratory research use only.
For laboratory use, the lyophilized blend is typically reconstituted with sterile or bacteriostatic water. Store the lyophilized powder at -20°C for long-term stability; keep reconstituted solutions at 2-8°C and use within a short working window. The GHK-Cu component is a copper complex that should be protected from light; aliquot where practical to minimize freeze-thaw cycles and avoid elevated temperatures.
